Fresh Garden Salsa

Fresh Garden Salsa

5 pounds of tomatoes
6 large jalapenos, whole
1 large onion
Juice from 7 limes
1 head of garlic
2 bunches of cilantro
1 tablespoon of cumin
1-2 tablespoons of Himalayan pink salt

Directions
  1. Wash all of the ingredients listed above.
  2. Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the stem and center (white part) of the tomato.  Add to blender.
  3. Cut the stem/tops of jalapenos off and add the jalapenos to the blender.
  4. Quarter the onion in half and add to the blender.
  5. Roughly chop the cilantro and add it to the blender.
  6. Cut the limes in half and squeeze the juice into the blender.
  7. Separate and peal the garlic cloves, roughly chop the garlic.  We love a lot of garlic, so if your not too big on garlic just do half of one head of garlic.
  8. Add cumin and Himalayan pink salt.  Add more or less depending on your salt preference.
  9. Blend until all of the ingredients are blended to the consistency of your preference.
  10. Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours.
*** Note : Use a blender with a blade that goes from the bottom to the top, the blenders with the blades only at the bottom of the blender will make a soup.

Enjoy!
